Tatterhood:
the Anti-Disney Princess
A story is a spirit being, not repertoire, allegory, or a kind of psychology.
– Martin Shaw
These mythic experiences are unlike anything else I do, and unlike anything else most of us ever get to experience in this modern world.
Coming into contact with a story as a living entity and a deliberately-held conversation with that story is an alchemical experience – it changes you, in ways you can’t predict or control.
When I first started doing these, I had no idea what would happen or how people would find the experience.
I have heard, over and over, that people have been stunned at the way these stories get into their veins, slide into their dreams, look back at them from across the park when they’re walking the dog.
This isn’t the kind of thing where I can promise any kind of “outcome” (not that I think that’s a real thing anyway.)
It’s an experience of being vulnerable to the spirit being of Tatterhood, letting it move you and move through you, and being available for whatever arises in you.
Tatterhood isn’t a story many people know, and it’s fantastic just on the entertainment level – but there’s so much more to it than that.
Who doesn’t want to know about a princess who’s covered in black hair, riding a goat and wielding a spoon and winning the day??! BEST. PRINCESS. EVER.
If you want to sink deeply into mythic time and space with us, and let Tatterhood ride her goat through your bones, please put down the modern world and come to the fireside.
